The network is built by the people in it.

Hires, interns, and contributors who care about deep history, science, and consciousness, and want to help build the media infrastructure this work has been missing.

We are a small team building something that did not exist before. A real media network for the people doing the most important work in deep history, science, and consciousness. We need researchers who care about being right. Operators who care about the people on the other end of a contract. Writers and producers who treat the pursuit of Truth as the reason for the work, not the marketing for it. If that sounds like you, there is almost certainly a way in.

Roles

Open roles

We hire deliberately, and we are remote-first today. Every role here is one we are actively building toward, not a position posted because someone left.

The TTN Internship

A paid, part-time way into the network for people who love this work and want to do it, not just follow it. You spend a few days a week inside TTN, hands-on with real content from across the network, while the team teaches you the media, AI, and technology skills that run a modern media company.

The work

A few days a week inside TTN, working directly with content from across the network — the shows, the research, the stories you already follow.

What you’ll learn

Media production, AI tools, and the technology behind the network — taught by the team while you do the work, not from a syllabus.

Stipend

A $1,000 monthly stipend. A paid, part-time role from the first day.

The network

You spend your weeks close to the subject matter and the creators you already follow, working with the content instead of watching from the outside.

Who it is for

This is for people who love the subject matter and the creators in the network, and want to know what it is like to work with it in a paid role rather than follow it from the outside. If you are excited by deep history, science, or consciousness and want to put your hands on the work, this is a way in.

Tell us you’re interested

Internship spots open on a rolling basis. Tell us who you are and what pulls you toward this work, and we will be in touch when there is a fit.

The Network

Not every contribution is a job. The network has been built, from the start, by people who care about this work and want to put their hand on it: researchers who send us leads, editors who take a piece across the finish line, hosts who run TTN nights in their city. If you want in, tell us how.

Contributing researcher

Domain experts (academics, independent researchers, working scientists) who want to feed TTN News and partner shows with sources, leads, fact-checks, and occasional bylines. Paid per piece when work is published.

Contributing producer or editor

Freelance producers, editors, and motion / graphics people who want into TTN’s bench. Project-based, paid market rate.

Community host

People who want to host TTN gatherings in their city, bring partner creators into their existing communities, or seed TTN at conferences. Travel covered for sanctioned events.

What it is like to work here

Small team, real ownership.

We are intentionally small. Every person on the team owns something visible. If you join, you will see your fingerprints on the network within the first month.

Built around partner creators.

Most of what we do is in service of the people whose names are on the work. That orientation runs through every team, from production to growth to ops.

In-person where it counts.

We are remote-first today, with a studio coming to Raleigh, North Carolina, and we bring the team together in person around the work. Events are where the team and the network meet, and most of us are there.

Tell us about yourself

If none of the doorways above quite fit and you still want in, tell us about yourself. We read every one of these.

Send us a note

A person will read it and write back.
